Adobe Firefly 3

Adobe Firefly Image 3 is Adobe’s third-generation generative image model, introduced to improve the quality, realism, and creative control of AI-generated visuals. It was designed to better understand complex prompts and produce images with richer details, improved lighting, more accurate positioning, and greater visual variety.

One of Firefly Image 3’s notable strengths is its ability to create photorealistic images while understanding longer and more detailed prompts. It also introduced improved text rendering, making it more useful for designs such as posters, advertisements, illustrations, and other graphics where text is part of the composition.

The model supports Structure Reference and Style Reference, giving creators greater control over the composition and visual style of generated images. Firefly Image 3 also introduced improved auto-stylization, along with better results for people, complex scenes, illustrations, icons, logos, and line art.

Another useful capability is Generative Expand, which allows users to extend an existing image and change its aspect ratio by generating additional content around the original image.
